'One of the finest artists working in the genre'

Love comes in many shapes and sizes - and the 1961 BMW Isetta that features in this recent commission is very much loved.

The design was inspired by the geometric shapes and bright colours that were popular in 1960's advertising and graphic design. In this case the circles take on extra relevance as bubbles to frame this iconic 'Bubble Car'.

The painting is A4 in size and executed in Oils onto an Aluminium panel, areas of which have been polished and brushed to form parts of the composition. The line drawing - which was taken from a period Isetta brochure - has been etched.
