This stylised painting of a DB4 GT represents one of Aston Martin's greatest sports racing cars at speed.

The artwork is painted in oils onto a reclaimed door panel from an Aston Martin DB4, prompting the title 'DB4 meets DB4'.

The car’s chrome work is reflective, created by wire brushing the bare Aluminium and shading with transparent oil glazes. The surface treatments subtly catch the light according to the position of the viewer and lighting conditions, bringing the painting to life. 

Concealed brackets with 'D' rings are mounted on the reverse of the panel for ease of hanging.

The artwork is signed and dated by the artist on a specially made 'signature' plate.
